Description

Learn how Diamondback Energy partnered with Actenum to enhance booster movement planning using dynamic scheduling.

Dynamic drilling and completion schedules frequently shift production on production (POP) dates, creating downstream impacts for operational teams that rely on accurate timing. While weekly updates may be sufficient for some groups, others depend on real-time scheduling visibility to manage contracts and forecast changing operational demands as development plans evolve.

At Diamondback Energy, production boosters must be assigned to specific wells approximately 15 days after frac finish and later redeployed based on the well’s drawdown, informed by both forecasted and actual performance data. Managing these movements across a dynamic schedule requires clear visibility into evolving timelines. By integrating scheduling insights with operational planning, Diambondback improved forecasting accuracy, contract management, and overall operational efficiency.
